Made for a few precious minutes together.

I wanted to include my daughter in my morning ritual: coffee, the news, and a look at the weather. I wanted us to share that curiosity without reaching for a screen.

Then one morning I found myself trying to explain interest rates and the Federal Reserve to a two-and-a-half-year-old.

There had to be a better starting point.

I created The Little Times to give us a newspaper we could explore together: real stories, compelling pictures, new words, and a little puzzle. Something we could hold, point to, wonder about, and bring to the breakfast table.

For me, it is a way to build a positive, screen-free experience with the most precious part of my life: my family. A familiar ritual that makes room for learning, conversation, and simply being together.

I hope other families find value in making it part of their mornings, too.
